About Wolfshield Studio

Wolfshield Records was founded in 2014. The studio’s first album, BLXPLTN’s Black Cop Down, was recorded in a garage and in Producer Elliott Frazier’s closet. Wolfshield HQ was in a 2-car Garage.

In 2016, Wolfshield moved to the current location - a picturesque urban ranch nestled in the heart of south Austin near South 1st Street and William Cannon, where they renovated the studio and living quarters and nurtured the land. Several years and many recordings later, the team seeks to give other musicians the opportunity to create amazing art and be a part of the community.

the Wolfshield Mission has always been to create Groundbreaking music, focusing particularly on artists belonging to historically disenfranchised demographics. Wolfshield supports the BIPOC and the LGBtQIA2S+ communities.
